Cancellation & Refund Policy

Appointment Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so as early as possible.

• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment may be rescheduled without penalty.
• Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee at the practice's discretion.

Missed Appointments

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, your appointment may be considered a no-show. Repeated missed appointments may require payment before scheduling future visits.

Refunds

Professional medical services are provided based on the time reserved and care delivered.

• Fees for completed medical visits are generally non-refundable.
• If payment is collected and the appointment is canceled in accordance with this policy, any eligible refund will be processed to the original method of payment.
• If a technical issue on our end prevents completion of a telehealth visit, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your appointment or provide an appropriate refund when applicable.

Prescription Medications

Payment for medical visits does not guarantee that a prescription will be provided.

Any recommendation or prescription is based solely on the healthcare provider's independent medical judgment following an individual evaluation. Not all patients are candidates for prescription medication.

Laboratory Testing and Outside Services

Charges for laboratory testing, medications, imaging, or services provided by third-party facilities or pharmacies are separate from Avanta Primary Care and are subject to the policies of those providers.
